Liverpool rock band Anathema have released details for Universal, a concert film to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray that captured the special one-off performance at the ancient Roman theatre of Philippopolis.

The film was documented by director Lasse Hoile, who is best known for his work with Porcupine Tree, Opeth and Dream Theatre, and is set to be released on September 23rd via Kscope.

The show at Philippopolis was a part of a lengthy European tour following the release of Anathema’s 2012 album Weather Systems, their most successful album to date. Highly rated by critics, Weather Systems cemented Anathema’s reputation as one of the best progressive bands around.

Universal will be released as a four disc audio-visual set, with a limited edition set featuring bonus content. The track listing for Universal is as follows:
