Recently Adele made a massive comeback with her hit “Hello” which gathered over 100 million views per week and went straight to number 1. Now Adele’s new album, 25, has become the most pre-ordered album of all time on Amazon.co.uk. This would be Adele’s third studio album, following 19 (released in 2008) and 21 (released in 2011), both of which were huge successes that were critically acclaimed worldwide and were recognized at the Grammy Awards (2009) and the BRIT Awards (2009 and 2015).
The album is set to come out today (November 20th) and yesterday, it overtook Take That’s first album as a trio III, Pink Floyd’s first album in 20 years “The Endless River” and One Directions Midnight Memories which means Adele has entered the Amazon Hall of Fame by having the most pre-ordered album in Amazon’s top ten most pre-ordered artists of all time (via mytechbits.com). The BRIT School former student has also overtook Iron Maiden, Blur and Muse in the top ten pre-ordered albums of 2015 chart.
