British singer Adele has signed with Columbia Records in the UK, the singer will release her comeback album through the label. It was reported that the singer decided to sign with Columbia Records as her contract with XL Recordings had expired. The independent label released the singer’s third studio album 25 in 2015. The “Hello” singer will release her highly anticipated album 30 via her new label. The forthcoming album’s first single “Easy On Me” will be released by Columbia on 15th October 2021.
The award-winning artist took to social media to tease the upcoming release and posted the single’s artwork.

Last week the 33-year-old singer teased more information via an Instagram live, fans were treated to a clip from her upcoming piano ballad. The British hitmaker also discussed her upcoming album’s theme, stating “What’s my next album going to be based on? Divorce, babe, divorce”. The singer’s divorce from her ex-husband Simon Konecki was finalised this year, the pair have an 8-year-old son from their relationship.
The singer also opened up about mental health during Instagram Live. Within the conversation, the MBE appointed artist disclosed that she takes a “Day-by-Day” approach but remains positive. She told viewers, “My mental health is very good at the moment. I take it day by day and I address whatever comes my way,It definitely helps me feel better if I take my time. Writing my music… yeah it’s been really therapeutic for sure. I think I lost the appreciation for that. I got things out that I didn’t want to say out loud and talk about.”
The 33-year-old singer’s upcoming album will follow from her 2015 release 25. The singer’s third studio album was released to commercial and critical applause and sired four singles. The album’s first single, “Hello”, has become one of the best-selling digital singles of all time. The single won four Grammy awards in 2017, adding to the long list of Grammys won since her debut album 19, released in 2008.
The upcoming album has been titled as per pattern; the singer’s albums are named according to her age. As the singer divorced her ex-husband aged 30 and given the musical theme, the album’s title is fitting. The singer recently spoke to American Vogue concerning her divorce and discussed consequences for the family during a divorce. The popular vocalist expressed hope that her upcoming album will provide comfort and understanding for her son when he is older.
She stated, “He has so many simple questions for me that I can’t answer because I don’t know the answer. Like, ‘Why can’t we still live together?’ That’s just not what people do when they get divorced. But why not?’ ‘m like, ‘I don’t f***ing know. That’s not what society does. And, ‘Why don’t you love my dad anymore?’ and I’d be like, ‘I do love your dad. I’m just not in love. I can’t make that make sense to a nine-year-old.”
