After the recent success that Adele has enjoyed, with the ridiculous amount of awards won and records smashed, it was inevitable that someone somewhere (Hollywood I’m looking at you!) was going to start thinking about making a film about her; well it would seem that is the case, if recent rumours are to be believed that is.
However in a typically Adele R rated rant on Monday night, the singer-songwriter denied any official work for a film based on her rise to stardom.
During a gig at London’s 02 Arena, Adele had this to say on the matter:
“You don’t get to make a film without my fucking permission. Shut up. There’s no film,”
and then on apparent reports that Australian comedienne and actress Rebel Wilson was set to play her in the film:
“Just because I’m plus-sized doesn’t mean she’s playing me”.

As previously mentioned, Adele has enjoyed widespread success following the release of her third album ’25′; following her theme of titling her albums after certain years of her life.
’25’ was just about as successful as you could imagine. At the 2016 Brit Awards Adele was nominated for five awards and managed to win four for her work with ’25’, which included Album of the Year and Single of the Year for the now household known song ‘Hello’.
