To mark the tenth anniversary of 65daysofstatic’s debut album The Fall Of Math the band have announced a deluxe reissue of the album to be released on 24th March via their longtime label Monotreme Records. Coinciding with the release, the group have also made clear their plans to perform the entire album live for the first time in a series of shows across Europe.
This updated, deluxe version of The Fall Of Math will feature the original album in full along with the band’s Hole EP, first released in May 2005, and the B-sides from the ‘Retreat! Retreat!’ single – ‘Aod’ and ‘The Major Cities Of The World Are Being Destroyed One By One By The Monsters’ – as well as the single’s video. For the first time, the album will be available in vinyl, although pressings are limited to just 1000, with each of these also containing a full digital download along with a CD copy of the album.
With regards to the tour, dates have been announced in some of Europe’s major cities; London, Paris, Berlin, Brussels and Utrecht will play host to this debut showcasing of the album in full. Though the album has been claimed by the band to have been written “entirely by mistake” it has achieved a significant cult following and the tour dates announced will surely be filled to the brim by dedicated fans eager to be among the first to hear the whole album performed live.
The Fall Of Math (Deluxe 10th Anniversary edition) will be released via Monotreme Records on 25th Mach 2014 and is available for pre-order here; http://monotremerecords.limitedrun.com/products/523818
