Think vocals of Neon Trees and the riffs of The Lumineers with a whole array of chilled vibes and you get the birth of young and exciting band, The Delaplains, who are anything but plain.
The guitar pop group will be performing their debut EP ‘Gypsy Blood’ along with other new track including ‘Eleanor’, ‘Statues’ and ‘Sleeping With The Lights On’, this coming Sunday at The Attic in Accrington. The annual event aims to ‘bring communities together to celebrate their local musical talents’, and has been created as part of the Olympic Legacy and ensures the impact of the games lives on beyond the end of the sports which came to a finish last summer.
It’s a free gig, giving you the freedom and delight of watching The Delaplains without worrying about costs and allows you to have an enjoyable day. Some of the other artists performing include Sky Valley Mistress and their hard-hitting rock tracks, Urban Empire with some intricate indie belters and many more. The overwhelming display of talent on show will leave you with a new favourite band and itching for more.
