West London rapper, AJ Tracey, has surprised us all by announcing his debut album, which is confirmed to drop February 8, 2019. The surprises don’t end there, as the rapper released the album’s lead single ‘Doing It’ – produced by Swifta Beater. Tracey announced the release date of his self titled debut album, on Tuesday the 20th of November 2018, at a skatepark gig, with the tracklist yet to be confirmed.
The rapper followed his announcement of his debut albums release date, with confirmation that he his set to tour the UK in March 2019. The albums release will be followed by a UK tour in March, set to start on the 6th of March, in Dublin, and a closing show at the popular O2 Academy in Brixton, on the 23rd of March 2019. All the other tour dates are listed below. Tickets are available for purchase for the tour this Friday (November 23) at 10 am.
After a good run across the UK and USA, the rapper has made a return with the new single. His most recent feature was with Smoke Boys, formerly known as Section Boys on their single ‘Leave The Hood’. The rapper has experienced great success with tracks such as ‘Butterflies ft Not3s’, which was certified gold.
From the single released it seems as though the Ladbroke Grove rapper is reconciling with his grime nature, as the single carries a level of hostility. He is clearly moving away from the soft nature of some of his most recent tracks, such as, ‘LO(V/S)ER’. His new single can be streamed across all major music platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
