Following the release of her glorious third album Dirty Computer, Janelle Monae has today announced a two UK tour dates, beginning in September 2018. You can see the full list of dates below, and tickets will go on sale here at 9am on June 8.

Monae’s third album gained massive acclaim upon its release, and she has since spoken candidly on the influence of her close friend and mentor Prince had on the project. The release of the album was initially delayed following the death of the iconic purple singer in 2016.

“There’s only one Prince and there will never be another. I had the opportunity to be inspired by Prince like the rest of the world growing up. In fact, I used to be terrified of Prince. I could not watch his videos. I had a dream that he chased me in a purple suit.” She explained to NME.
