San Diego deathgrind outfit Cattle Decapitation have released the video for their new single, ‘Your Disposal’, from their sixth studio album, ‘Monolith of Inhumanity’.

The quartet, formed in 1996, are renowned throughout the extreme metal scene for their brutal style, consisting of strongly environmental and pro-vegetarian lyrics, delivered via repulsively explicit album artwork and music videos.

Their latest visual offering is no exception, the Mitch Massie helmed video for, ‘Your Disposal’ portrays a creation-esque story, in graphic, surrealist detail. Frontman Travis Ryan commented on the video that:

‘Here we see Eve giving birth to humanity, a living, breathing piece of primordial meat birthed into the dirt making its way through the garden of eden, hellbent on destruction… A clean and conscious monolith foretelling what could be possible given the fact that humans exhibit superior traits of intelligence, instead the earth is flooded with technological fallout and debris by the hands of man.’

The video explores the themes of creation and religion present throughout the album, and, according to Ryan, is a prequel to the albums previous videos, ‘Forced Gender Reassignment’ and ‘Kingdom of Tyrants’.
