Oasis fans hold on to your bucket hats. Lost tapes from the iconic Britpop band have resurfaced… well, not quite. UK band Breezer has used the power of AI to create a new Oasis album that fits right in with the band’s back catalogue – complete with vocals from Manchester’s most mardy lead singer Liam Gallagher.
Breezer wrote all the lyrics and music for the album titled AISIS - The Lost Tapes / Vol.1 (In Style of Oasis / Liam Gallagher – AI Mixtape/Album) and recorded the tracks themselves adding an AI-generated version of Liam’s vocals on top.
The eight-track album is a 32-minute nostalgia trip packed with a mix of grandiose ballads and noisy full-tilt bangers. Liam’s iconic swaggering vocals blast out over swirling psychedelic guitar riffs, rage-filled drumbeats, tambourines, and meaty basslines – and he sounds surprisingly un-computer generated.

In the caption to the video posted on Youtube, the band called the album an “alternate reality concept album where the band’s 95-97 line-up continued to write music, or perhaps all got together years later to write a record akin to the first 3 albums”. AISIS was created during 2021 lockdown. “We’re bored of waiting for Oasis to reform, so we’ve got an AI modelled Liam Gallagher (inspired by @JekSpek) to step in and help out,” the band added.
The band also promised that if the project was successful, we could expect more AISIS songs: “We have a 2nd bunch of songs to come if you want to hear more, please let us know in the comments”.
The album has been a hit with Oasis fans many of whom still cling to the possibility that the Gallagher brothers will kiss and make up for the sake of rock ‘n’ roll. As it stands the album has nearly 200K views on YouTube.
Not only have Oasis fans got a kick out of the project but Liam has also confirmed that he’s on board too. When asked on Twitter by a fan if he had heard the album yet he replied, “Not the album heard a tune it’s better than all the other snizzle out there”. He also eloquently commented, “mad as fuck I sound mega”.
