Anne-Marie was born and raised in East Tilbury, Essex. In a YouTube documentary, called ‘How to be Anne Marie,’ she opens up on her childhood in Essex. She attended St Cleres School in Stanford-le-Hope, and during the documentary she revisits the school. She explains, “Visiting school was raw for me because I’d never been back there since I left and I didn’t want to think about it at all, ever again. So it was quite an extreme thing to re-visit that place but, I always love going back to Essex. I do also have good memories of Essex so it’s not all bad. But, I feel like that’s what made me who I am, growing up in Essex and experiencing what I experienced at school is why I’m doing what I’m doing today.’’
”Sad B!tch” was released on 3rd of February, alongside the music video.
