NME reports that Jamiroquai have announced their long awaited return today. The band has revealed plans for a string of globetrotting headline festival dates this summer. The band have also released a new teaser for their new album, marking their first project since 2010.
The band’s summer stretch will begin in the land of the rising sun in late May, before heading westwards, and culminating in Portugal at the beginning of July, though unfortunately there have been no dates confirmed for the UK or Ireland at the point. The full list of dates can be found below.

To add to this, the band recently uploaded a teaser video for their new album, title Automation, which will see release later this year. Jay Kay and co. haven’t released an album for nearly seven years, since 2010’s Rock Dust Light Star, and over the years the band have amassed four UK number one albums, as well as totalling over 26 million records sold worldwide.
