Link Up TV is calling all producers and video directors. The UK hip-hop platform is launching a competition, where the winner will be given the opportunity to work alongside UK drill pioneer LD and an engineer who has created one of the biggest freestyle platform in UK rap, Fumez The Engineer.
Link Up TV are giving producers the opportunity to work on LD’s next single, as well as having it recorded and mixed by Fumez the Engineer. The UK music platform is also giving aspiring video directors the opportunity to win the opportunity to direct an official Link Up TV video. With only three days left to apply, the process is simple; producers have been asked to send in their three best beats, while directors have been asked to send their best links to theprocess@linkuptv.co.uk.
Link Up TV has been the platform for a number of the UK’s biggest artists and producers to make their name, producers such as M1onthebeat, Gotcha and Splurgeboys have all featured on the channel, whereas videographers such as Kaylum Dennis and Myles Suave shot some of their earliest and biggest work for the online platform.
Fumez The Engineer has become one of the biggest names in UK drill in the last year without having to even say a word. The engineer created his own freestyle platform ‘Plugged in with Fumez’ an idea that mixed classic freestyling with immediate reactions made by the onlooking Fumez. The idea took the internet by storm, with some of his most viewed freestyles sitting on over 40 million views. LD on the other hand has recently been released from prison after over 2 and a half years away. The masked rapper was arrested at the peak of his career, after he and his group 67 pioneered UK drill as some of the first to ever create music with that distinct sound.
The opportunity to work with these UK music heavyweights is being offered by Link Up TV. Producers, send three beats over to the above email, and directors, send over a link to your best work.
