Aussie indie rockers Cloud Control have announced that second album, Dream Cave, will be released on September 16th.
The band who are originally from the Blue Mountains, Sydney, now call London their home. The new album follows 2010’s Bliss Release, which received critical acclaim in the UK and down under, where they won the Australian Music Prize for their debut album. The Sydney natives are heading home this August and September to play a huge sold out 14-date headline tour across the nation.
Following the band’s own 10-date headline tour of the UK and Europe this autumn, they are set to support US indie rockers, Local Natives, on their UK Tour this October. The band’s who share the same label, Infectious Music, are set to play 13-dates across the UK starting at The Junction, Cambridge on October 15th.
Latest single Dojo Rising was released on July 12 to a string of positive reviews with Beat Magazine Australia hailing “the band are intent on moving past their debut LP”. Cloud Control posted to fans on Facebook yesterday “Holding a new album in your hands is still as good the second time round.”
Dream Cave is out on September 16th on Infectious Music.
