UK experimental post-rock band 65daysofstatic have announced that a run of three shows that were previously scheduled for 2020 will be commencing tomorrow, with a show at the Islington Assembly Hall in London. The band has stated that any tickets purchased for the original shows are still valid.

65daysofstatic will be playing in London, Manchester and Edinburgh, and have shared details of each venue’s COVID restrictions via a statement sent to those subscribed to their mailing list. Two of the three venues have no notable COVID rules however, the band has stated that they would “very much encourage mask wearing and doing a negative test check.”
The group has also made very clear in their statement that anyone experiencing symptoms should not attend. Additionally, one of the three shows is sold out however, the band are encouraging anyone who wishes to attend to search for tickets online via mytickets.co.uk and seetickets.com. They have also said that they are “trying to retweet anybody who is selling tickets”.
65daysofstatic have also revealed via their newsletter that they will be premiering new merchandise at the shows, including a new hoodie and a reprinted design that has returned due to popular demand. The band have also stated that the merch will be available for fans to purchase via their Bandcamp once the run of shows has ended.
Earlier this year, 65daysofstatic launched their ongoing project entitled Wrecking Systems, which the group describes as being a “live broadcast of new, endless 65daysofstatic music”. The Livestream itself is available to anyone on the band’s YouTube channel, however, they also have a Patreon that they encourage fans to support so the Livestream can continue. Presently, four E.Ps have been born from the Wreckage Systems project, and are available on Bandcamp. Supporters who have subscribed to the band’s Patreon page will receive free downloads of new music from Wreckage Systems, with the band stating that fans should expect “approximately 1 (release) a month”.
