Yung Blud, the pride of Doncaster-based punk rock, recently gave an incredible show as he supported the band at Glasgow Green. Biffy Clyro’s frontman, Simon Neil, praised Yung Blud, after the recent show, where Neil took time during a recent interview with NME to say: “I love seeing anyone who’s inspired by rock and metal making their way in the mainstream,”. Which he followed this up with: “If I was 15 I would be all-in on Yungblud. I’d be dying my hair pink, wearing a miniskirt, the lot.” “It’s important that every teenage generation does something that makes everyone older go, ‘What the fuck are you doing?’ It’s like, ‘This isn’t for you!’ That’s the whole point! I admire him a lot.”
While also focusing on their new album Myth Of The Happily Ever After, and how COVID forced them to rewrite songs for it. The album was a huge success, which in a way was a pleasant surprise for the band who started the album started as “leftovers”, but was a chance to explore the freedom of the writing process due to lockdown. This was the first album from the band since Ellipsis (2016), which starred an incredible lineup of songs- including “Friends and Enemies” and “Medicine”. This comes in a long line of successful albums for the band, that has taken them to new heights including headlining Download.

They will be joined on this short leg of shows by Bob Vylan, which was announced earlier this week in a tweet by them saying: “We get antsy sat in the house too long so we’re back on the road this Friday, joining @BiffyClyro on their sold out tour!“.
