Dappy announces that Not3s, Ziezie and Lost Girl will join him on his Dukis Playground 2021 UK tour. The tour kicked off this week in Ireland stopping in Dublin and Belfast. The tour is set for 10 more dates concluding on November 10th at London’s Electric Brixton.
Dappy’s tour will see the Camden raised rapper visit Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool, Nottingham, Birmingham, Bournemouth and London.
Dappy is only 34 but is 15 years into his career, having released his first single “You better not waste my time” alongside his group N-Dubz made up of Dappy, his cousin Tulisa and close friend Fazer. 15 years in and the ex N-dubz frontman is set to release his second solo tape Dappy Fortune on October the 29th.
The new tape comes 7 years after his first solo project Bad intentions, which featured hits like chart-topping “No regrets”, “Rockstar” and “Spaceships” featuring Tinchy Stryder, singles that all reached top 5 in the UK charts.
Not3s is joining Dappy on his ‘Dukis playground’ tour and has just returned to music earlier this year following a year-long hiatus. He returned in 2021 with his tape 3 Th3 Album, the 23-year-old recently became a parent and probably used his time to be with his child rather than releasing music.
Not3s joining Dappy on this tour will be his first time performing consistently since the release of his project and since covid restrictions have been dropped allowing live shows to go ahead.
Ziezie is another artist set to join Dappy on his tour and is known best for his platinum single “Fine Girl” which he released in 2018 and has over 60 million Spotify streams. Ziezie has gone from strength to strength releasing tracks alongside Aitch, Ms Banks, S1mba and Stylo G. Ziezie has performed at Wireless and Tokyo world festival this summer, but will surely be excited to see how his music translate to fans across the country.
Lost Girl is the last act joining Dappy on his tour and is a 21-year-old singer who is helping to revive the UK garage sound. The singer is highly favoured having signed to Tinie Tempah’s publishing company Imhotep and was always set on becoming a pop star after getting a “Lost girls” tattooed across her nucleus a decision she made to lessen her chances of getting a job, sharing in an interview with Notion “Yeah I’m gonna get tatted up so I can’t get a job”.
Dappys album Dappy Fortune is set available to pre-order here.
