Ian Miles is back off the bat of Creeper’s new EP, American Noir. Which was a follow-up from the band’s 2020 sophomore album Sex, Death & the Infinite Void. Ian plays a crucial part in Creeper and has been gearing up for his own solo effort Degeneration, Death, Decay for a little while now since the single “Truest Blue”. He has been a part of Creeper since their first self-titled EP and has seen them through The Callous Hearts (2015), The Stranger (2016), and First album Eternity, In Your Arms (2017). Now working alone, as he has done before, he has embarked on one of the most personal things written by Ian.

Showing his triumph after a difficult struggle with his mental health that led to him writing from a psychiatric ward. Creeper guitarist Ian Miles announced his album earlier in the year. His second single “Overwhelmed”, shares his haunting yet beautiful acoustic tone as Ian Miles explores the human psyche in a heartbreakingly honest way. A poetically dark album on the same level as Have A Nice Life’s Deathconsciousness (2008) as it looks inside itself for the answers. Haven played shows across the world alongside class acts like Wargasm, Neck Deep, and All Time Low, to name a few, Ian Miles has seen it all. After a show in which he performed his new songs, While he has no future shows planned under his own name, he will be back out alongside the rest of Creeper this December.
