This year marks the 10th anniversary of Butserfest, a one-day music festival held in Petersfield, which describes itself as “the UK’s biggest and best alcohol and drug free festival”.
Butserfest is targeted at young music fans between the ages of 14 and 20 who would otherwise find it difficult to celebrate their love of alternative music at more mainstream festivals, and in the past celebrated bands such as You Me At Six, Funeral For A Friend, Kids In Glass Houses, Mallory Knox and The King Blues have graced the stage, as well as lesser known bands being given a platform to perform. The theme of Butserfest is inclusiveness, allowing musicians and fans of all ages and creeds the chance to have an authentic festival experience.
Butsertfest has kicked off this year’s line up announcements by releasing a list of 12 acts to perform across the festival’s three stages. See full list below:

With headliners due to be announced on May 31st, this year’s line up is already looking promising. French rockers Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! are also set to be making an appearance at this year’s Slam Dunk Festival having become seasoned Slam Dunk regulars over the years, and have toured with the likes of A Day To Remember and Woe, Is Me.
Butserfest is held on Butser Hill opposite Queen Elizabeth Country Park and boasts three stages, backstage acoustic sets and band signings as well as a host of activities included in the price of tickets, including a surf simulator, obstacles from BBC TV show “Total Wipeout” and the chance to roll down the hill in a giant plastic ball. What’s not to like?
Butserfest 2016 will take place on September 10th. Visit the official website for more information. Tickets available here.
