Steven Tyler has announced that Aerosmith will reunited for a final tour next year.
Featured on Digital Spy, Tyler announced this with an interview with Rolling Stone:
“I’m doing 30 [solo] shows from May until August. And then in 2017 we go out with Aerosmith,”
“We’re probably doing a farewell tour. Look, there’s two bands that still have the original members, us and the Stones. I’m grateful for that.
“Whether we do a farewell tour or go into the studio and do another record, I’m just excited about it.”
Tyler has been working on a solo country music project.in which he will be performing this summer.
2017 will mark the so-called ‘Bad Boys from Boston’s 47-year on-and-off career since Aerosmith originally formed in 1970.
Steven Tyler has been busy with charity work and will play a gig next month 2/5 – Lincoln Center – New York City after November’s successful launch of his charity, Janie’s Fund.
