Australian band Hands Like Houses are fast becoming favourites on the alternative rock scene, known for their distinctive sound and blend of rock sub-genres. The band have gained a considerable amount of notoriety in the years following their record deal and debut album, and have toured alongside bands such as A Day To Remember, Woe, Is Me, Attack Attack!, Pierce The Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, Bury Tomorrow and Memphis Mayfire, as well as having performed a multitude of gigs at renowned events including Vans Warped Tour and Download Festival.
On Friday 26th February the band released their energetic third album, entitled Dissonants – and even treated fans to a premiere of the music video for new track Glasshouse via AltPress, which you can watch here:
Vocalist Trenton Woodley told AltPress:
We’re pinching ourselves, Dissonants is finally here! This album represents everything we’ve poured into it in the past 18 months – relentless touring, ruthless self reflection, intense pressure and plenty of patience. We’re incredibly proud of the result and are itching to see how big it can go. Let’s make it happen!
Dissonants has already been well received by fans, who have waited more than two years for a new album from Hands Like Houses after their previous album Unimagine was released in 2013. The band has been touring extensively during this interval, and consequently has accumulated a large fan-base, which has heightened anticipation for new material due to the ever-growing number of new fans – who have not been disappointed.
