Sleaford Mods decided to offer reduced price tickets to their gigs for fans that might be struggling financially.
The post-punk duo shared the news on their social media. A new post on Twitter showed the group’s vocalist Jason Williamson in a short video saying: “We’ve set aside some £5 tickets for the UK Tour. But these are strictly for people who are struggling financially so please don’t take the piss”.

The link to the tickets will be emailed to those who apply, on the 1st June. Last month Williamson confirmed narrating an audiobook version of Alan Moore’s novel ‘Voice on fire’ for it’s 25th anniversary. The singer will voice over two stories from the 1966 book. In Chapter 3 ‘In the Drowning’ he will take the role of an ancient fisherman and in Chapter 10: ‘The Sun Looks Pale Upon the Wall’, he will portray a poet John Clare. Full list of narrators and more details about the book can be found here.
