Two of the biggest names in rock, heavy metal band Slipknot and timeless innovative icon Marilyn Manson, have announced that they will be embarking on a joint tour in North America this summer in an alliance that is sure to go down a treat with rock fans worldwide. The two esteemed rock giants will be supported by Californian metal-core band Of Mice & Men, who have shot to popularity on the alternative music scene in recent years. This news follows the announcement that fellow rockers Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin will also be touring together, giving rock and metal fans a lot to look forward to in the coming months.
The official dates and venues are yet to be announced, however a list of cities the unprecedented ensemble will be visiting has been released and is as follows:

The tour will promote Slipknot’s Grammy-nominated latest album, released in 2014 and entitled 5: The Grey Chapter, as well as Manson’s recent offering The Pale Emperor, which was released last year. Both acts are still currently touring headline shows in the wake of their latest album releases, with Slipknot having finished the UK leg of their tour only last week, playing shows in Cardiff, London, Birmingham and Leeds, including a two night residency at London’s infamous Alexandra Palace after a surge in ticket demand resulting in an additional date being added.
