The White Buffalo is most well known for his work with the hit TV series ‘Sons of Anarchy’ with numerous of his songs having been used for the programme; this has helped to propel Smith into wider mainstream success.
However as said Smith is enjoying a bit more success now than he has previously experienced, appearances on shows like ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ and work on ‘Sons of Anarchy’ have opened up an audience of people to his music.
There is a reason Smith’s music has been used so often for the likes of ‘Sons of Anarchy’, a supremely talented singer-songwriter whose songs seemingly encapsulate the true nature of America; often distinctly Americana or a narrative of society. A welcome throwback to the likes of early Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen.
Listen to The White Buffalo’s ‘Wish It Was True’ below, hopefully it’ll be enough to convince you to become a fan!
The new album was released five days ago on the 12th February. Details on how to purchase the album can be found here.
