British rock band Enter Shikari have been forced to reschedule their UK and European tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The group had been due to play in May and June 2021, but have shifted the gigs to December 2021, and January and February 2022. However, they have added additional dates to their Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible tour – in Lincoln, Bristol, Hull, Liverpool and Leeds.
The band posted on their Twitter page: “All #NothingIsTrue UK & EU tour dates for May/June 2021 have now been RESCHEDULED for Dec ’21 & Feb ’22. Tickets for all original shows remain valid. Additional shows on sale 10AM this FRIDAY 12th MARCH. @DINOSAURPILEUP & @NovaTwinsMusic support in the UK.”

Fans were quick to support the band’s decision.
@garydex posted: “Ally Pally now the first leg of the UK tour? This is going to be epic.”
@VIVA_LA_DERRY wrote: “Thank you x 10000 for a Leeds date. Will probably still make the trip to Notts for the other nights, but there’s nothing like getting drunk and having an amazing gig and only having to get a taxi home”
@Less16candles_ added: “Ending the UK leg with a double dance party in our Notts.. Smart!”
The tour is to promote the band’s album Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible, which was released in April 2020. Enter Shikari will be supported by alt-rock band Dinosaur Pile-Up and rock duo Nova Twins. Other stops on the UK tour include London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Nottingham.
Enter Shikari originally formed in 1999, and consists of bassist Chris Batten, lead singer Rou Reynolds, guitarist Rory Clewlow, and drummer Rob Rolfe. The group have had five top 10 albums in the UK chart, and have won multiple Kerrang and AIM awards. NME gave their latest album four stars, writing: “‘Nothing is True & Everything is Possible’ brings together every shape that Enter Shikari have ever pulled and slots them together to create their most definitive album yet.”
