Dua Lipa has released her new album Future Nostalgia (The Moonlight Edition). This album is a reissue of her second studio album Future Nostalgia that came out last year and shot straight to number one and included hit singles such as Don’t Start Now and Levitating. The album includes four brand new tracks If It Ain’t Me, That Kind of Woman, Not My Problem featuring J.I.D and her newest single We’re Good.
We’re Good, the newest single from the album was teased to fans after Dua Lipa uploaded a pre-save link for the track. The song was also accompanied by a music video, directed by Gal Muggia and Vania Heymann. Following the song’s theme of freeing yourself and making a clean break, the video follows a lobster in a tank on the Titanic in 1912 who survives being someone’s dinner and is released to the sea by the ship sinking.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Dua spoke about the meaning of the song saying; “I think sonically, it felt the riskiest because I don’t even know what it is. It’s like pop with a little bit of a trap beat. It’s got an interesting Bossa Nova style. I don’t even know how you explain it or how you would start to describe what a song like that is. It just is. And that for me was probably the most scariest, but I think the content of the song is really interesting.”
“It’s having that amicable breakup that I think everybody kind of wants. It’s like that clean break isn’t lacking, move on. We’re good. You can’t be upset if I move on. I can’t be upset if you move on. You know what I mean? And I think a lot of the time it’s that part of a breakup that – It gets lost in translation. Yeah. When things are ego-driven, that’s immediately when it’s over, but yeah, just the amicable breakup.”

Following the release of Future Nostalgia in March 2020, Dua Lipa talked about the songs she loved that didn’t make it onto the album. Speaking on Kiss FM, Dua said; “I have a couple of songs that I’ve worked on, and that I kind of put aside for a second wind, so that’s all to be discussed.” She then released the remixed version of the album called Club Future Nostalgia in August. The remixed album featured major collaborations from stars such as Madonna, Missy Elliot, The Blessed Madonna and Gwen Stefani.
