Anne-Marie has released her new song Don’t Play featuring KSI and Digital Farm Animals. KSI teased the track on the 4th of January with a clip of the instrumental saying; “What Female Artist do you think would work well for this?” The garage-infused electric pop song was accompanied by a video, which features KSI training Anne-Marie so she could fight her bullies. The video was directed by Troy Roscoe.
This is Anne-Marie’s first track of the year, following a string of 2020 singles including, Birthday, Her, To Be Young featuring Doja Cat and Come Over with Rudimental and Tion Wayne. Anne-Marie has also had a busy year outside of music, she recently joined the judging panel on The Voice.
This single comes following the release of Anne-Marie’s YouTube original documentary called How To Be Anne-Marie. The documentary, which was filmed during the pandemic, tells the story of Anne-Marie’s journey from her tough school years to her current success and exploring her music and mental health. The documentary has been watched almost 900,000 times.
This isn’t the first time KSI and Digital Farm Animals have worked together. They released Really Love with Craig David in October, which hit number three in the UK charts. They also released the music video for the song, which featured the singers in a snowy mountain range, surrounded by party goers and different green screen tricks. KSI and Craig David also appeared on Celebrity GoggleBox in aid of Stand Up to Cancer.
