‘The Boss’ is set to release some work without his perpetually supporting backing band the E Street Band.
Springsteen’s last album release was just last year with ‘High Hopes’ which of course featured the E Street Band, as have the majority of his other 18 albums!
Springsteen confirmed his ‘solo project’ in a recent interview with SiriusXM’s E Street Radio, listen below:
It’s been over 10 years since his last release without the E Street Band (Devil’s and Dust in 2005).
The E Street Band have been such a defining feature of Springsteen’s music, especially when performing live. The combination of Springsteen’s energy and showmanship and the sheer power of the E Street Band have helped create and sustain Springsteen’s reputation for unique live performances.
