The 1975 kicked off their UK tour in Liverpool last night with a bang as they surprised a crowd of 2300 fans with new material from their upcoming second studio album “I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It’ (most likely inspired by Fall Out Boys overly-long titles that never end).
The band will be touring places all over the UK throughout November, showcasing their new material which follows their first studio album titled ‘The 1975′ which was released in 2013.
The Manchester-formed bands initial album was a huge hit globally due to their modern rock vibes and style. Now, the band have set out to take their fans back to the 80’s, with vibrant shades of pinks and oranges replacing their previously monochrome style and an interesting twist on 80’s pop-rock fusion.
The fans at the Liverpool show were treated to new material named ‘Change Of Heart’, ‘She’s American’, ‘Somebody Else’, ‘The Sound’ and the recently released ‘Love Me’.
