Having planned to go on tour in October 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic has forced Kentucky rock band Black Stone Cherry to postpone their UK shows until September 2021.
Despite this unfortunate turn of events, fans can look forward to the rescheduled dates, which were revealed yesterday. The band took to social media to announce, “We’ve been closely monitoring this unprecedented situation and it has become clear that it’s just not possible to go ahead with the shows as planned. We have looked at many options, but ultimately the health of our fans, crew, and family is paramount.”
While many other bands have cancelled their summer performances in the last few months, it was hoped that live music would be safe to take place once again by the autumn. Sadly, this is not the case, and the Black Stone Cherry tour was ultimately postponed, though ticket-holders can retain their tickets and attend the same venue as originally planned. If required, fans can receive a refund at the point of purchase.
The statement ended on an uplifting note: “We cannot wait to come see you all with a new album under our belt and oh how much sweeter this tour will be! In the meantime, stay safe and look after each other.”

The band’s previous album was released in 2018, so followers are eagerly awaiting the next. Already the single ‘Love Become Law’ came out last week on 9th July, giving the first taste of what’s to come. Gaining 83,000 streams, the song was created and performed in collaboration with Canadian rock band Monster Truck and released via Mascot Records. Together, both bands have formed a new project under the name The Cherry Truck Band.
We’re beyond stoked to announce The Cherry Truck Band’s song “Love Become Law” is out now. Teaming up with @Monster_Truck_ for this single has been a blast. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did creating it for you!
