Known for her dance-pop anthems, singer-songwriter Becky Hill and DJ and Producer Sigala knock it out of the park with their latest single Heaven On My Mind. The Worcestershire native teams up with Norfolk-born Sigala, real name Bruce Fielder, to release an anthemic, high energy track. With the amazing Wish You Well already under their belts, their latest single is Becky and Bruce’s second smashing collaboration.
Heaven On My Mind is also the second teaser from Becky Hill’s keenly awaited upcoming album, the title or details of which is yet to be revealed. Fans have high expectations following Get To Know (2019), her debut compilation album that shot Hill to pop royalty. Following her prior release Better Off Without You (featuring Shift K3y), Heaven On My Mind is another surefire hit from the singer-songwriter. Released on the 25th June, it is a passionate, pop/dance soon-to-be chart anthem that seamlessly intertwines Hill’s powerful vocals and a layered piano house backing track. Due to the single being released in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, the hopeful lyrics represent a high spirited message that resonates within listeners now more than ever. It is abundantly clear that Heaven On My Mind is a future club classic.
The single has already garnered a fantastic response from fans, with the music video receiving over 12,000 views on YouTube in the past ten hours. An artsy montage between whimsical party scenes and Hill strutting around amongst clouds, the angelic effects behind the already popular music video are a perfect match for the self-empowered, catchy chorus. Hill also took to Instagram at 5:30 pm today with Sigala to post ‘HOW WE MADE HEAVEN ON MY MIND’, in which the two hitmakers chatted about the new single whilst messing around with Instagram filters. The eleven-minute video was met with a warm response from fans and has gathered over 7,000 views in four hours. When asked by Bruce what “drew her to the song”, Hill replied that “I was so miserable last year, this song came through and reminded me that ‘Oh wait, I can be happy, there is a light at the end of the tunnel’. I really liked that idea at the time because I would not have written something like that”.
