Jessie Ware has recently announced a new tour in support of her upcoming fourth studio album, ‘What’s Your Pleasure?‘, set to drop next week. There will be eight dates for the tour, starting from April 14 at O2 Academy, Glasgow to April 24 at O2 Academy Brixton, London. Tickets are on sale on Friday, 12th July via Ticketmaster.
Just in time before the new album is dropped, the British songstress has surprised fans with the announcement of her new tour entitled ‘What’s Your Pleasure? Live Tour 2021‘. The singer took to her social media, detailing the info for the forthcoming shows: “This week is an odd week to make announcements and feels incredibly futile when there is so much happening in the world right now that is far more important than this.”
“However, I am excited to look forward to this in 2021,” she continued. “I made this record so I could dance with you all so I am beyond excited to be touring ‘What’s Yours Pleasure?‘ around the UK next year. I know its a while to wait but it will be worth it. Expect lots of dancing, plenty of new music and more than anything fun, Can’t wait to see you all in April.”
‘What’s Your Pleasure?‘ is a follow-up to Ware’s 2017’s release ‘Glasshouse‘. The album is a return to her disco and club root that she has intended to craft as “escapism” and “groove” to “say goodbye to the melancholy Jessie“.
“Save a Kiss” is the latest promotion from the LP. The single is a club-oriented anthem that recalls the glorious “Dancing on My Own” by Robyn. It is also served with a music video shot in quarantine, which features Ware and her fans dance to the fabulous choreography by Olivier Casamayou. Check out the video below.
Even though not being released yet, the record has already received acclaim from a critic. The Guardian gave four stars to the 12-track LP, calling it “a case to reimagine so-called comfort zones as potential lanes of expertise“.
The complete set of ‘What’s Your Pleasure?‘ will arrive on June 19, and it is available for pre-order both digitally and physically on every platform. Also, tickets for the UK leg of ‘What’s Your Pleasure?‘ Live Tour 2021 are up for purchase this coming Friday.
