Newly wed Rebecca (married to the lead singer and guitarist from the band Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown) and Megan have confirmed they will be returning to the UK after touring in 2019 and performing at last year’s Deer Festival in Kent. Recently the band Larkin Poe have announced their European tour including some UK dates which you can now book on their web page by clicking this link: Tour.
Currently living in Nashville, Rebecca and Megan Lovell are the singers and songwriters of the band who play multiple instruments while putting their fingers on a new gritty version of Rock ‘n’ Roll and contemporary blues. Have we mention yet that these two are sisters? Well, they are! And not only that, they are descendants of another creative artist, Edgar Allan Poe.
Their latest single, ‘She’s A Self Made Man’ from their new album “Self Made Man”, is available to pre-order on their website which will be out on June the 12th:
For those who are new to the Rock & Blues band, Classic Rock magazine included Larkin Poe “as one of their top ten bands to watch out for in 2020″ and this year their album ‘Venom and Faith’ was nominated for the Blues music awards as a Contemporary Blues Album nominee and Bleach Blonde Bottle Blues was Song of the year nominee including a Grammy nominee in January 2020.
Due to lockdown, Rebecca and Megan have currently swapped their live performances to live streaming for those who bought US tour tickets and have announced that anyone who cannot watch their live stream show will be reimbursed.
