Mudhoney has announced their headlining tour in Europe and the UK in fall. The tour is in support of their latest offering Morning in America, an EP released back in September 2019. For the UK leg, there will be four dates in total, starting on September 19 in London and subsequently in Manchester, Glasgow, and Bristol. Tickets for their shows are available now via See Tickets.
Mudhoney is an alternative rock veteran group from Seattle formed in 1988. Signed by the Sub Pop label, they initially emerged as a band that is strongly influential in Seattle’s music scene, with music that blends blue rock and punk rock resulting in high-distortion and grungy sound.
“Touch Me I’m Sick” and debut EP Superfuzz Bigmuff have been referred to as their most recognised works to date. The four-piece group has so far released ten studios albums alongside many in their discography with well-known tracks like “Suck You Dry“, “Good Enough“, “Let It Slide“, and “Generation Spokesmodel“. Despite their underrated popularity and long-standing career in music, Mudhoney has been a strong influence for later grunge and alternative artists.
Last year, the band dropped a 7-track EP titled Morning in America. Recorded during their promotion for 2018’s acclaimed tenth album Digital Garbage, the EP includes new songs together with a reimagined track of “Kill Yourself Live” called “Let’s Kill Yourself Live Again” and unreleased tracks like “Snake Oil Charmer,” “Morning in America” and “Creeps Are Everywhere”, not to mention “Ensam I Natt” (the cover of Lether Nun’s “So Lonely Tonight”). See the EP’s tracklist and album art below.

To further the promotion of Morning in America, the Seattle heroes will go on the road for numerous shows in many big cities. Apart from a string of shows in America and Europe, Mudhoney will rock out in four big cities in the UK, one of which will take place in the iconic Electric Ballroom in Camden, London. Their legs in Europe and the UK will be the first time in almost two years for the band to perform outside the States.
