British rocker Tom Grennan has announced the release of a new single “This Is the Place”. The single will drop on January 20, and it is also available for pre-save now on every streaming service.
The 24-year-old singer/songwriter took to his social media, announcing the release of his upcoming single. “I’m back and it’s take over time,” wrote Grennan on his post. Furthermore, “This Is the Place” will be the first sneak peek into Grennan’s second studio album, which has no release date yet.
Born in Bedford, the now-London-based singer rose to fame with “All Goes Wrong“, a single by Chase & Status to which Grennan contributed his vocal. After this smash hit, he fully embarked on the music career by releasing his very first studio album Lighting Matches in 2018. The album shot to number 5 on UK Albums Chart with hits like “Found What I’ve Been Looking For”, “Royal Highness“, and “I Might“. Lighting Matches received so much praise from music critics thanks to Grennan’s alternative rock aesthetics and unique voice.
“This Is the Place” will be Grennan’s first single since the Lighting Matches era. Moreover, he will do an intimate show at Bush Hall, London on February 19 as part of BRITs Week War Child 2020.
