British singer/songwriter Jack Garratt is preparing for his comeback at the music scene by announcing his first tour since November last year. The tour is titled A Work in Progress, which the singer aims to do to share his upcoming music for his fans. The tour includes five dates starting on February 18 in Manchester, and then in Edinburgh, Leeds, Birmingham, and Bristol. The singer’s official website is open for signing up for pre-sale tickets on January 15, while the general sale will be up on January 17.
Back in 2015, the multi-instrumentalist won Critics’ Choice Award from BRIT Awards, and one year after Garratt dropped his debut album Phase. The album shot to number 3 on the official chart, with “Worry” as a smash hit and singles like “The Love You’re Given“, “Weathered“, and “Surprise Yourself“. Garratt also garnered the accolades from BBC with Introducing Artist of the Year in 2015 and BBC Sound of 2016.
After the release of Phase, the “Breathe Life” singer decided to take hiatus from the spotlight. His last appearance was at Coachella in 2017, and he recently returned to do an intimate show in London back in November 2019. During his break from the music scene, Garatt has been spending time writing and making new music, as the singer wrote a lengthy note on his Instagram post. See the post below.
Prior to the release of new music this year, the now 28-year-old singer will embark on a new tour to share what he has in store. The tour will take place in five main cities in the UK and extend for five more dates in Europe. The tickets will be up for purchase this coming Friday. Check out the dates below.
