A list of the top 100 songs of the decade has been released. Compiled by the Official Charts Company, it accounts for physical, downloads and streaming equivalent sales.
The list was topped by Ed Sheeran with his track ‘Shape Of You’. He holds three places in the top ten alone, with ‘Thinking Out Loud‘ and ‘Perfect’ taking third and fifth spots respectively. He also took eleventh with ‘Castle On The Hill’.
Altogether, the list contained 55 number one singles and gathered more than 207 million chart sales.
Following close behind him in second is Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’. George Ezra occupies two places in fifteenth and twentieth with ‘Shotgun’ and ‘Budapest’. Others in the top twenty include Adele, Clean Bandit, John Legend and the late DJ Avicii, with his hit ‘Wake Me Up’ in thirteenth.

Back in November, Mark Ronson and Anderson .Paak came together for the collaboration, ‘Then There Were Two’. The song is featured in the new animated film Spies In Disguise, starring Will Smith and Tom Holland.
Mark wrote the track ‘Freak Of Nature’, his second track from the movie’s soundtrack, available on December 13.
