Alternative rock band X Ambassadors has announced a new leg of the ORION Tour in the UK next February. The UK tour will kick off at The Leadmill, Sheffield on February 19. Tickets for the shows are available now via See Tickets.
The three-piece alternative band from New York will return to the UK this February. The new leg for the ORION Tour includes seven shows, one of which will happen at Lafayette in King’s Cross, London—a new music venue run by Mumford and Sons’ Ben Lovett who is also the owner of the emerging venue Omeara in London Bridge.
The ORION Tour is the band’s latest show in support of their second studio record of the same name released back in June. This forthcoming tour is also the return of X Ambassadors to the UK after playing a small gig at Scala, London last May.
X Ambassadors is known for bending genres of rock and synths altogether with the likes of Imagine Dragons. “Renegade” and “Jungle” are their hit singles from the debut album titled VHS (2015), with the latter peaking at number 18 on UK Singles Chart. Meanwhile, ORION has spawned hits like “BOOM” and “HEY CHILD”.
The band is also behind the success of Cuz I Love You, an album by pop/hip-hop phenomenon Lizzo. The three members produced several tracks on the album, namely the title track, “Jerome”, and “Heaven Help Me”. Cuz I Love You was nominated for 2020 Grammy Awards, marking X Ambassadors’ another achievement.
