Lewis Capaldi has released his new single, ‘Before You Go’, lifted from the extended edition of his debut album, ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’. The Glaswegian comedian and singer described the release in a Twitter post as “seriously one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written.”
‘Before You Go’ was released at 5 pm yesterday (November 19), with the deluxe edition of the debut album out this Friday, (November 22). The singer reflects on the year in a Twitter post, saying, “The past year has been absolutely wild, didn’t in a million years think all of this stuff would happen to me.”
“Less than two years ago I was lucky enough to get to gig in small pubs and bars back home in Scotland and somehow I am writing this with a number one single in America and getting to play to and meet thousands of ya every night all over the world.”
Beyond this single and the debut’s re-release, Capaldi is setting up for a UK & Ireland Tour this month. Following the Autumn run, he’ll be heading on to begin another sold out Arena tour throughout March 2020. All dates for the two tours are listed below.
