Rammstein have announced that they will be returning to the UK, next summer for another huge show. The German rock icons will be returning to Coventry’s Ricoh Stadium, on Saturday the 20th of June 2020.
The industrial metal icons will also perform in Belfast, at Boucher Playing Fields, on the 17th of June 2020, but the Coventry date marks their only performance, in England, of 2020. Tickets for the Coventry show will go on sale tomorrow, Friday the 12th of July 2019, at 10am, and can be purchased here.
The announcement comes after last weekend’s performance, at Milton Keynes’ Stadium MK, on the 6th of July 2019. Their return to the UK next year is said to top last weekend’s performance as their biggest ever UK show, which is hard to believe considering the pyrotechnic spectacular, the band brought to their Milton Keynes show.
During the Milton Keynes performance, fans were amazed by one particularly impressive moment, which can be seen in the clip below, saw fireworks shoot out from the front of the stage igniting speaker stacks in the middle of the stadium, before they returned to the front with an enormous boom.

Speaking about the band’s Milton Keynes show, NME wrote; “Lots of bands have pyro onstage. Many bands have big pyro onstage. But how many bands have pyro all around the arena? Whether you’re in the front row, somewhere in the middle of the crowd, or stood nursing your pint at the very back, at this Rammstein show you’ll never be more than a metre or two from huge bursts of fire. There are moments tonight where NME genuinely felt our face fry. Mmm, crackling!”
Last weekend’s performance, at Milton Keynes formed part of the band’s first ever stadium tour, which saw them perform all over the globe. It also comes after the band released their seventh album, in May, of this year. The untitled album features 11 new tracks and marks their first release since 2009’s, ‘Liebe ist für alle da’.
Rammstein formed in Berlin, in 1994, with the six-man line-up consisting of Till Lindemann – lead vocalist,Richard Z. Kruspe – lead guitarist, Paul Landers – rhythm guitarist, Oliver Riedel – bassist, Christoph Schneider – drummer, and Christian “Flake” Lorenz – keyboardist. The band released their debut album, ‘Herzerleid’, in 1995. Since then they have accumulated a global fan base, releasing a further six albums, that have sold millions of copies worldwide and produced hits including ‘Ich Will, Keine Lust’ and ‘Feuer Frei!’.
