Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has announced a new tour set to begin following the release of his second solo album, ‘Why Me?, Why Not?’. Following the announcement of the arena tour, Gallagher also shared his next single ‘The River’, lifted from the upcoming album, set to be released on September 20. It is the second single after the release of ‘Shockwave’ back in May.
The track was written by Gallagher in a collaboration with the singer of Miike Snow, Andrew Wyatt, who had been a collaborator on Gallagher’s debut album, ‘As You Were’. The tickets for the arena tour will be on sale from 9am on Friday July 12. In the making of the new album, the singer partnered with Greg Kurstin, a producer for the Foo Fighters and Adele.

Meanwhile, ahead of Glastonbury 2019, according to The Sun, American rock band The Killers, responsible for hits such as ‘Human’ and ‘Mr Brightside’, denied claims that Liam Gallagher is set to perform with them. The band are set to appear on the Pyramid Stage on Saturday 28, but rumours of the joint performance with the former Oasis singer, have been quashed.
In other news, Liam last week took to Twitter to admit to drug usage in his past, before suggesting, “send me the keys to no 10″, quoting his album’s title within the tweet. This follows a dispute between Liam and his brother over Brexit.
