The South-West’s finest rock band, the proverbial savours of the galaxy, Muse, have today revealed a further selection of 2019 tour dates for fans across the UK. Following the success of their summer shows, including ones at Ashton Gate in Bristol last week, the band today took to Twitter to reveal their “Simulation Theory” tour would be back in London and Birmingham this September.

Muse are currently touring their incredible Simulation Theory show around the UK. Reviewing their show at The London Stadium The NME said in their four star review “It feels more like musical theatre on a blockbuster scale than a standard stadium gig. The Greatest Showman reimagined by James Cameron.”

Earlier in the week Matt Bellamy and The band had teased news of the announcement of new shows saying “Stay tuned for a major announcement about UK shows on Monday June 10th….” After their incredible Manchester show at the Etihad stadium. A show which saw Tom Morello, of Rage Against The Machine and Prophets Of Rage, come to the stage to perform with them.

Muse are currently touring their new album, also called Simulation Theory. Speaking before the tour Matt Bellamy said “Robots do appear at some point in the show, and, you know, they’re pretty threatening,I didn’t think we could go this far, but we’ve finally gone too far.At some point, you’ve got to find the limits of what you can do in a rock show. It feels like no one else is doing that in the world of guitar music. It feels pretty unique at the moment.”
The album itself also scored rave reviews across the media, with The NME describing it as “With space-age rockabilly and EDM machine gun beats, this bizarre new album sees Muse retreat from the real world and into a ‘Tron’-style pastiche of their own adolescence. You’ll be ashamed to tell anyone how much you love it” in a four star review.
