The BRIT Awards have unveiled their 2025 nominations, with Charli XCX leading the pack with five nods, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for ‘Brat‘. Dua Lipa follows closely with four nominations, amongst them Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for ‘Radical Optimism‘. Notably, The Beatles have received their first nomination since 1977 for their AI-assisted track ‘Now and Then’. The ceremony is scheduled for March 1 at London’s O2 Arena, with Jack Whitehall returning as host.

The Best New Artist nominees are English Teacher, Ezra Collective, The Last Dinner Party, Myles Smith, and Rachel Chinouriri. Myles Smith has already won the Rising Star Award for 2025 as it is traditionally announced ahead of the main Brit Awards ceremony. This allows the winner to be celebrated in the lead-up to the event and often gives them the opportunity to perform during the ceremony itself. International Artist of the Year nominees include Adrianne Lenker, Asake, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift.
