Sam Fender is perhaps one of the UK’s most well-known young artists around the world. With viral songs on TikTok and acclaim from critics, Fender has a bright future ahead. Recently, the British artist has embarked on a UK tour to promote his newly released songs including “People Watching” and “Wild Long Lie” which anticipate his upcoming album to be released earlier next year. After this tour, Fender will be visiting Europe again before playing three career-marking stadium concerts next summer.
Fender’s upcoming album “People Watching”, set to be released in February, is anticipated by the release of three singles (so far) and a 10-stops UK and Ireland Tour, where Fender will be playing arenas. The tour has started in Dublin last week, and tonight will be taking over London again. Here is a look at the full list of stops:
Dublin, 3Arena, December 2
Manchester, Co-op Live, December 6 and 7
London, The O2 Arena, December 10 and 13
Birmingham, Utilita Arena, December 13
Glasgow, OVO Hydro, December 16 and 17
Newcastle, Utilita Arena, December 20
The setlist played in the concerts pulls from both the upcoming album “People Watching”, as well as Fender’s previous releases “Hypersonic Missiles” and “Seventeen Going Under”. Fender is playing all his biggest successes, including “People Watching” which recently peaked at number four in the UK, and his biggest hit in terms of charts “Seventeen Going Under” which peaked at number three in the UK after its chorus became viral on TikTok.

His record “Hypersonic Missiles” released in 2019 charted in the UK for 117 weeks and peaked at number one. The following album, titled “Seventeen Going Under”, also peaked at number one and stayed on charts for 91 weeks. Will Fender’s upcoming album also achieve the position? After the success of the record’s first single “People Watching”, which peaked at number 4 in the UK, it seems like the upcoming album is headed towards that number one spot.
The tour is being supported by fast-rising rock band Wunderhorse, which took the UK by storm the past year with their second released record “Midas”.
After this tour, Fender will go on to perform, in 2025, in some other Countries in Europe and America. “People Watching” is set to be released in February. Over the summer, Fender also has a short UK stadium tour planned which will take him to plays his biggest crowds yet. In that leg of the “People Watching Tour”, Fender will even play the London Stadium. With many festival lineups still to be released, there is a chance Fender will also be taking over the main stages of some much awaited summer festivals.
