The track in question is “Lara” which also featured on Davidson’s album released in 2018 and is somewhat different for Avery, moving away from his trippy style to a more electronic sound.Avery is an electronic music DJ and producer from Bournemouth. He first began producing in 2009 under the name Stopmakingme for people such as Little Boots, Hercules and Love Affair and Metronomy but started using his real name in 2012. He released his debut album in 2013 titled “Drone Logic”. In 2016, he issued a DJ Kicks compilation. He released his second album in 2018 titled “Song for Alpha.”
Davidson is a French-Canadian musician from Montreal. She was part of the duo Les Momies de Palerme with Xarah Dion. They released their album “Brulez ce couer” in 2010 through Constellation Records. She has also collaborated with other musicians such as Mantana Roberts and David Kristian and was part of an orchestral project called Land of Klush. In addition to this along with her partner Pierre Guerniere, she is half of the minimal wave duo Essaie Pas.
